BUG review
This small hostel has facilities that include the usual TV lounge and kitchen. It is a little rough around the edges but it has a good party atmosphere.

OMG what a hellhole. I have read some awful reviews of this hostel on other sites and want to warn people here as well. For some reason the Manager and Staff go out of their way to track down bad reviews and slander the people who make them, but I'm going to write this anyway:The only reason I stayed here, firstly, was because the hostel across the road appeared unstaffed and I was standing outside for about an hour. 2 guys called me into Bluesky, it was cheaper (about 7 quid for a dorm bed) so over I went. There didn't seem to be a reception area, but a girl met me and asked for my passport for security. I refused and said I would show it to her but that was it. She seemed happy and led me to an overcrowded, dark and dank dormitory. There were a couple living in a closet off to the side and about 16 beds (bunks) in a room only about the size of a regular bedroom. The curtains were drawn so we could barely see, but when someone tried to move them aside, they were abused by the couple of trolls living in the closet.I felt completely terrified and unsafe and except that there were 2 other girls in the room in exactly the same position as me, I would have run for my life. There were no locks on the dorm doors, or the front door (in GLASGOW!!). There was a dirty, freezing shower room and the kitchen was tiny, cramped, filthy and had a printed sign on the door, saying: "No bare feet. Broken Glass" Surely it would've been quicker to sweep up the glass than to print the damn sign???I could go on: the manager stayed up all night, coming into rooms to wake people up, sitting out the front and hurling vile abuse at the manager of the hostel across the road. I had to fend off the guy in the bunk beside me (less than an arms length away) who had decided that because I had spoken to him earlier he could clamber into my bunk (wtf??) and had someone actually try to climb into my bunk in the middle of the night. The next day, I ran for my life and didn't look back. It may be cheap, but traveller's beware: you get what you pay for!
