Although it may seem small from the exterior, this hostel has all the comfort you need as a backpacker (toilet, bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, dining area with television). And it indeed does feel special to sleep in a former train car. The hostel has only ten beds, so it is wise to make your reservation well in advance. Slightly negative points are the fact that it is situated close to the main road (although very low traffic at night), that the dryroom didn't dry that well (but maybe there was something I overlooked) and that the warden isn't around at night, which could be creepy and lonesome if you are the only person in the sleeping car. I had the luck to have the company of three railway photographers of which one gave a slideshow during the evening of his best steamers throughout the years. This really made my stay perfect. One last tip about eating and drinking. There isn't a shop around, but you could have dinner in the hotel further down the road. You can also buy a bottle of wine there, which is what I did. You can have breakfast in the dining car next to the hostel. It only opened at half past nine, but apparently I could have asked for an earlier breakfast the night before. The Spanish owner of the dining car was very friendly ahd really deserves your visit.
