BUG Review
This roadside and loch side hostel has a character all of its own. The myriad potted flowers make the Loch Ness SYHA almost Mediterranean and the private beach on the shore of Loch Ness hosts bonfires all year round. The big kitchen is a real bonus but its dining room/lounge with its wooden table and chairs and both a piano and Hammond organ that is the scene of much singing and joviality.

Loch Ness Youth Hostel is an oasis in the 'wilderness' of the West Highland Way. The French manageress is friendly and has stamped her taste everywhere... not a bad thing when you look at Inverness YH actually...

One thing to watch out for if you go there between July and September is the midges...SYHA HeadQuarters....what about netting on the windows??????
