BUG Review
An annex of the Ho Ho Hostel, this is a small self-contained unit with share room and kitchen but no lounge – you can use the Ho Ho’s if you want to socialise, watch TV or chill out. It’s pretty basic and a little unloved.
Price Dorm bed £12 Prices are in British pounds and are inclusive of all taxes.
Like Jasmin, I too was directed here from Ho Ho's.The room itself was bare and basic, but not too bad. However when I went into the bathroom there was no toilet paper, and there was blood sprayed on the shower curtain, toilet, hand basin and bathroom floor. (Not a whole lot, but enough that you'd come in contact with it if you used the bathroom).I wandered back down to Ho Ho (as there are no staff onsite), and asked if the blood could be cleaned up and if I could get some toilet paper. After an argument that went like "Mate, just to let you know, there's blood all over the bathroom""No there isn't. It was just cleaned""Seriously mate. I was just there, and there's blood there and no toilet paper""No. It was just cleaned"The guy on reception became hostile, and I asked for a refund. I was told that they didn't do refunds. I'd paid for 2 nights, so wasn't real happy about this, but realised I wasn't getting anywhere. I decided not to shower that night and figured I could use a toilet in a pub if need be. As it turned out, when I checked out two days later, the blood was still there and the toilet paper wasn't.All I can say is NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Actually I booked in the Hoho hostel, but they sent me in the Long Lie In. This house is very dirty! I was so glad, that I had my sleeping bag with me, so I didn't have to sleep on the bed. There's a kitchen on the first floor, which is purely furnished. The floor itself is very skew and I was afraid I may break through. There's only one shower in the house, which is very small and unclean either. Additional, there's no staff in the house, so you can ask no one for help. The only positive I can say about it is, that it is quite central and out of the window you can see the castle of Inverness. All in all I advise: STAY AWAY!!!!
