BUG Review
This bunkhouse overlooks a fjord with a spectacular view. It is superbly maintained, featuring a pleasant kitchen/dining room with a TV lounge area and a small deck. The kitchen is good, but rather small for the number of guests. The dorms and showers are very good. There is an adjacent bar and restaurant, but prices are not budget. If you want to visit a distillery, there’s one just two minutes walk away!

this hostel is only really sensible if you have a car and time on your hands - all the touristy things are 1/2 to 1 hour away... except the distillery which is about 50m down the road! this place is usually filled with walkers/hikers/mountain climbers all heading for the cuillans, so expect a more mature crowd. the bar next door is fantastic (though not so budget), with a wonderful cosy atmosphere. the hostel is clean, and the showers all worked well. the only issue for some people would be security, as NOTHING is locked. i have wonderful memories of eating dinner looking out over the loch (the hostel is RIGHT on the water), then heading to the bar for a wee dram... ah! and of course skye is beautiful.
