The place is very clean and tidy particularly the toilets. If you would like to sit in the sun sipping coffee then this might be the place for you. The open air cafe is very beautiful and you can see the hill and the harbour right from your table. The food is nice. And the best part is that you have access to your room and bed anytime of the day (some hostels give access to their dormitory beds only at night). But the charge is £11 instead of £10. And make sure you have a car while visiting Mallaig, as you could waste a lot of your time waiting for a public conveyance (and maybe you won't get one).
