This hostel is everything that a hostel should be, above all, immaculate. Opportunity to talk with others, but privacy respected, both by other hostel guests and the owners. All utilities functioning, no surprises (unless you walk into the wrong railway car late at night....) Be sure you know which cars you are staying in! Lovely village and beautiful surroundings, on the trainline and easy to visit nearby villages. Village pub and restaurant wonderful food and drink, and friendly. Small store nearby carries most anything. Hostel owner has wonderful eclectic garden with statues and benches and lupines everywhere. Unique. I saved my train ticket.

The train cars are immaculate, and the local pub is amazing! Ask the barkeep to suggest a whisky - you won't be dissapointed. Since Rogart is a little off the usual circuit, the locals are eager to chat.
