We had a lovely time at the Trossachs Backpackers hostel. I was impressed with how clean the rooms and bathrooms were, and the location was charming. There are house pets there, as well as sheep and goats, and they were adorable. They have a huge bike rental right on the premises, and it was a great jumping off point for exploring the area. I would absolutely recommend this place.

We recently stayed at this hostel - 26 Ramblers from the Moray Ramblers Group in Elgin - and we all had a fantastic time. Beautiful location just outside Callander. All facilities are excellent and all rooms very tidy, warm and accommodating. Superb sitting room upstairs for an evening 'party' - very comfortable, just like home from home. Well worth a visit, will definitely return. Owners very welcoming and friendly and left us very much to our own devices.
