BUG review
This traditional cottage in a tiny village on the seashore amid hills and fjords feels primitive but has all necessary facilities including a good shower and separate toilet, a well-equipped kitchen/dining room and a cosy common room with fire and books. Some visitors camp here and use the facilities. There’s a great atmosphere, but you might have to keep windows shut against midges. Guests help to keep the hostel clean. Bring or hire a sheet sleeping bag.

About BUG's hostel reviews
This hostel was visited by one of BUG's team of hostel inspectors who write independent reviews and assess a star rating based on an objective assessment criteria.

We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.
