The location is unbeatable & the staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable & efficient. There haven't been any cats there for two years & the bathroom mirror was quite adequate for shaving & washing. The single bathroom was cleaned regularly often several times a day. Water pressure could be better. The owner tries to keep his prices reasonable & as a result is often full when other hostels are half empty. Reservations are highly recommended. The hostel provides free internet, laundry, & coffee. The common room is the center of activity & is visited not only by guests, but friends of the staff to help make interesting evenings. My one criticism is that everybody smokes. If you really dislike smoking, go to another hostel. The best compliment is that the hostel has many repeat customers.

Do you enjoy waking up in the morning with cats scratching your faces and stealing your unattended food ?Do you like crampy bathrooms with no mirror and smelly kitty litter by your feet ?Would you like to use a kitchen which gets cleaned once a week (if that) ?If not, I recommend against staying here.
