I've stayed in YHAs across 3 continents and this was the worst. Mistakenly described in guides as 'new' it is at least 15 years old and does not seem to have been updated in this time. Decor is very depressing. No kitchen facilities and miles from shops or restaurants. Pool not clean enough to let animals near it. Lots of graphite on the beds. Bathrooms not that clean. Busses described as frequent but we waited 3 hours for a bus from Algeciras on a Saturday afternoon. We were told we hadnt got a booking even though we had confirmed it at the correct time. Staff did manage to correctly book us ferry tickets to Morocco. The kind of place you went on a school trip at 12 and hated even then. 5 minutes in this place was too long.
