I stayed here for one night at the end of May. The hostel itself was nice, with ensuite facilities, and although I had a room for 4 people there was only 1 other person there. Most of the other guests appeared to be Spanish schoolkids. However, the staff (I think) was having a party right outside my room in the courtyard and didn't turn off the music until after midnight. Considering that it was really hot, we had to keep the window open which didn't help. But overall a good place to stay - maybe I was unlucky for the one night I was there.

As mentioned before, this is an excellent hostel. The location couldn't be better--1 minute to the Mezquita, nice small plaza right outside the door. For an HI hostel it actually has a lot of personality: paintings on the doors, beautiful interior courtyard, nice entrance, etc. 3.50 Euros extra if you're not an HI member. Breakfast included. Internet center (20+ computers). Really loud one night (due to high school chess tournament) but otherwise excellent. Very clean. I'd CERTAINLY stay there again!

Predictably dull like most HI hostels, but clean, no curfew, ensuite bathroom and internet access. Breakfast was average. Fantastic location though once you find the place - can walk everywhere.

There isn't much to be said on this one. I agree with everyone else - it's an amazing hostel - we stayed in a double room and it was of a really high standard - the best we had in Spain.

Take the #3 bus from the train/bus station and after it swerves around cordoba for 20 minutes it drops you off in shouting distance from Plaza Juda Levi, which is where the place is. I paid 18.35 per night here. I had the week before turned 26 years old and it cost me 5 euros extra per night. Damn expensive, but the rooms are clean with comfy beds and hot showers. It´s artistically endowed also, every room door decorated in noteworthy graffiti-art, and a beautiful sun-roofed computer lab which i´m typing this from. Net is 1.50 per hour. It´s a block away from the Mezquita and Alcazar de los Reyes Christianos, in the center of the beautiful historical district. I´ll take Cordoba over Granada easily, except if I´m in the mood to party. This is by no means a party hostel, and is damn expensive.

although there is no way we could have found this place without a taxi, the rates were very good and the rooms were comfortable if a little small, the bathrooms were clean, there is onsight laundry, and the breakfast was great. i don't remember the staff person speaking English though. Oh well.

I stayed in a small, very clean 3-bed room with toilet and shower en-suite. On-site internet and phone. No common areas, that I found, in which to meet people other than your roommates. Oh, while breakfast is fine, please do yourself a favor and stay very far away from dinner!! I made the mistake of eating dinner here, and it was awful: fried fish, watery, defrosted vegetables, and the most disgusting salty cheese - yes, that's right, it was cheddar cheese flavored - soup I've ever had in my life. I think my taste buds are still offended from that meal.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever been to. I was in a a spotless 3-bed dorm with en-suite hot shower, toilet and sink. There was plenty of storage space, a wardrobe and desk. The accommodation and meals are a bargain, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and the location is great. My only moan was that meals had to be booked in advance. You'll need an HI card to stay here (or pay extra), advance reservations are recommended, and it's cheaper if you're under 26.
