In term of amenities this hostel is the best hostel that I have stayed in while backpacking through Europe. The place was clean and there was only three beds per room. Also, each room had its own shower and toilet facilities. However, like other posters have noted in their reviews this hostel suffers from something more annoying than dirty bathrooms and rude staff, this place is boring. There´s almost no social scene or bar despite this hostel physical size. Also, alcohol is banned from premises. However, this place does have its purpose. For example, sometimes one just wants a good night sleep.

I also have the complaint about the school groups...god they were obnoxious. I slept well all nights but one. Breakfast is ok, rolls and coffee; on-site phone and TV; en-suite toilet/shower; no ambiance, and it's hard to meet people other than your roommates. I didn't mind the walk to the city center, however it is far: either be prepared for 1,60 bus fare (return) or a 20 minute walk. I didn't try the lunch or dinner, but if they are anything like the food at the albergue juvenil in cordoba, stay far away from them!!!

Stayed here for two nights and both nights had sleep disturbed by large groups of schoolchildren. While the hostel is clean and relatively cheap it is a fair distance from the city centre. Also the hostel has no atmosphere and is no good for meeting others unless they happen to be in your room. One little bonus was a packed breakfast when I checked out before breakfast was ready, mind you it was little compensation to all the banging and yelling that went on untill 5am that morning.Advice: Find Somewhere Else!

this place had nice rooms (only three to a room, and if you were lucky you got the single bed instead of the bunk bed) and private baths, it was located not far from the station, the staff was nice, the building was nice, the breakfast was good (a nice change from croissants and orange juice), but almost everyone who was staying there was not interested in a conversation. i only met a few people, even though the place was packed with them. also there are no kitchen facilaties, and they discourage bringing take out food inside. don't go to this place if you want to meet people, but i think maybe all of granada's hostels are like this.

Can be reached on foot quite easily from the train station. Breakfast is included but not necessarily good. Pretty easy going people. Rooms are seldom ready until after noon but you can leave your luggage in the lock up.
