First of all they charge us for the International hostelling card for each night we spent there, so at the end we paid 22 instead of 18.50 p/night. In one of the room the air conditioned was not working, but the very lazy guy at the desk claimed that "it was not possible because it has never happened before" and of course, no tech was available! Can you imagine sleeping without a/c when there are 43 degrees outside!!!???Another problem is that there's only one key for each room, so if you are not sleeping with people you know, and you want to stay out late, you should knock on the door, hoping that your nice (and hopefully not too pissed off) roommate opens the door!It has to be said that the place is clean and rooms are quite good, with 3 beds in each, but if you have time and the season is not high, you may try to find something else.

extremly comfotable place to stay, three per room, 6 share bathroom and shower, airconditioning so so breakfast. The building could be a great hostel, but no bar or common area, to many kids and old people all over, and 30 minute walk from town. Good place to relax in a hot hot city but not worth it for a young back packer.

It is a bit far away from the center of the city. You can take the bus Nr. 34 and 6. We paid 14 Euros per person in a double room. They are clean and have their own bathroom with toilet and shower. In the winter it is very cold in the room, because we had a balcony and the door of it was very leaky, so all the cold air could come in. The breakfast is one roll with a hot chocolate and a juice. You can also get lunch and dinner. There is no curfew.

I stayed last night, and have re-booked for another 2 nights. All shared rooms are 3 to a room (same sex), with two rooms sharing a shower and toilet. TIP: Get friendly with everyone sharing your facilities...Beds, rooms and bathrooms were very clean and air conditioned. It has a hospital feel to it, but at least it feels clean throughout. On the down side, the breakfast was a joke, the staff were like hospital wardens, and the luggage storage is a waste of time (no re-entry) but hey, for EU18 (for over 26 HI member, EU13 for U26 HI member, EU3.50 surcharge for non HI), it´s pretty cheap. The bus (No. 34) is a 2 minute walk away, and costs EU1 to get to the city centre. It´s not a 5 star hotel, but it is a welcome relief to have a clean safe building.

Quite away from city center but near bus stop. We stayed in a three bed dorm. Rooms clean with extra blankets if you need them, and air conditioning.had big cupboards and desk. Our room even had a balcony! Bathroom seperate from room, clean, shower not very powerful but was hot. Breakfast was the same as most hostels, bread roll, jam/ham, cake or biscuits, coffee, hot chocolate or orange juice. The only bad point i can spot is the staff could have been more friendly and helpful. still i recomend this place to everyone.

Am surprised at the previous unfavourable reviews. In my opinion, the albergue is one of the best hostels i stayed in, during my trip! It's the cheapest at 13.25 euros with breakfast, and we had a room all to ourselves! The rooms were clean, had air-conditioning (amazing for a cheap hostel), and even a balcony. The bathroom was shared by two rooms, but that wasn't a problem at all. There were three beds in our room, but because the hostel is so big, they could afford to scatter people around, instead of bunching them together to fill rooms to the brim. Breakfast was excellent, and very filling! We each had a huge bun, two slices of ham, orange juice, coffe/tea/cocoa, a piece of pastry - the best hostel breakfast so far. Spotted a few daring ones, who even queued up for seconds. the staff was clearly displeased and kept staring at the perpetrators, but they didn't kick up a fuss. The location is indeed a bit far, but compared to the other HI ones, this one is considered reasonable. Only flaw is the vague directions given by the reception. We arrived at Seville at nearly midnight, and was told to switch buses at Prado del San Sebastian. couldn't find the bus-stop to make our connection, and wound up having to take a cab. Fortunately, cabs were cheap. Anyway, the nice rooms and filling breakfast, made up for it!

This hostel did have clean rooms and good quality beds (no bunks, at least in my room), with only a few beds per room. The staff were more akin to government workers than travelers -- some were reasonable, but a few others were obviously unhappy with their work, and were not that helpful. The location is just fair -- a bit away from the town center and train station, but reachable by bus, plus it is close to the university, with adds a bit of non-touristy student life to the neighborhood. The worst aspect of this is the lack of a decent common area to socialize, I succeeded in meeting people there but it took a good deal of effort. Also, particularly if you are 26 or over, or if you consider the additional cost of bus fare, it will not save you any money to stay at this hostel -- you can find a cheap-and-cheerful single in the center, such as Barrio de Santa Cruz, for the same cost. Given the lack of social scene, you may as well have a nice room to yourself within a few minutes walk of the action.

This place was very clean and the bedrooms and security were nice, however the showers were awful. The staff were very rude as well. My main problem with this place (as with many HI hostels) is that there is no atmosphere. There is not even a common room for people to gather in. Don´t go here if you want to meet people.
