I was here in November, so I can't comment on the heat outside or the air conditioning inside. I was perfectly comfortable in my 8-person dorm for 2 nights. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. There was a little entrance room before the dorm, which was a great place to store and (attempt to) dry our shoes after getting poured on. There are personal security lockers, which I love because you don't have to try to hide your valuables in your backpack or give them to the desk. The breakfast was a bit sparse, but 3 or 4 pieces of toast will get you out of the door. The staff was helpful, and booked us beds in the Oasis in Grenada. It's walking distance to both bus stations, and close to lots of attractions, like the cathedral.
