i was really surprised at the hostel here. it was really bright and extremely clean with a relaxed front door throughout the night so we were able to fall in when we saw fit.The beds were made everyday and the rooms cleaned. The whole place was bright and accomodating with great views over the city of Bilbao

A big 7-story backpacker high-rise on the edges of Bilbao, this place is large, modern, and sterile. It is the tallest building in this part of town and has large, gaudy neon signs on top to make sure you don´t miss it.

The rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds and a good amount of personal space. You get a cabinet! And you get breakfast, which you must wake up early to get, but is well worth it. Cereal, fruit, sweets, juice and coffee.

It´s a spic and span place, but so much so that it feels like a hospital. And it is about a 20 minute walk slightly uphill from town. You can take the bus, but I usually hoofed it.

I paid 13.5 Euro per night in January 2004.

I arrived at night after recption closed and was met by security guard who gave me a room key because id booked, not sure what the plan would have eben if i hadnt. anyway gave my passpotrt as security and went to the dorm rooms. 6 bed rooms are very clean and comfy. it flt really nice after travlling all day to get between the sheets. went to bed.

In morning went down and paid and got my apssport back. Breakfast is included free which is pretty average but considering it was only 11.55 euro to saty it was a bargain. its close enough to town but a bus ride to the guggenheim.

recommend it because its vlean but in terms of social life, its kinda non existant, but then again, you dont come to this town to party

This place had great facilities. Everything is fresh, clean and modern. It is on the outskirts of Bilbao, though, and you must catch a bus (which was very slow) to get there. It took me over a half an hour to get to the Gugenheim Museum by bus...

Also, be careful, when you transfer busses in Bilbao, you must pay again.

Hey, it's the only hostel in town, and its good, so why not?
