Excellent location, good breakfast, very clean bed+ bathroom and rude staffs.
You have to pay 2euro each for blanket, sheet, locker. If you pay by credit card one euro extra per person per night.
Oh, you don't have any light on common shower booth. Be aware of the rude staff.
One security guy at the front door searched inside of my father's shopping bags and took his beers away without asking/explaining anything. We're planning to have them in the guest kitchen/common place when we have dinner. They treated us as if our family is some kind of criminal. We haven't told beforehand not to bring beers inside. and when we asked to get them back the next day, it's not there. I mean, without any apologize or anything at all.
It's bad, bad experience...

was pleasantly surprised by this hostel. took the overnight train from madrid and arrived in barcelona at 8am. the hostel let us check in to take a shower at 11am (although about 20 of us were in the same vote and there was only 1 person working the reception desk.) internet and breakfast were free. the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. the hostel is in an restored building so the architecture inside was pretty interesting. highly recommended!!!
