my stay at nest was simply great. From the begining the staff was very helpfull and gave me a lot of(maybe too much) information and advise about the city. My dorm was really big and spacious, the kitchen should only have cooked for me to be perfect and the lounge room was the best place for me in the city: nice people, cool atmosphere, a sunny terrace, pool game and... everything!! i will come back soon and try to stay at the new nest opening this summer (with air conditioning in room!!) I really reccommend the nest.

A big thanks to to staff and owners of a truly fanatastic hostel for showing us a great time in Valencia. Nest has what must be the biggest and nicest kitchens I have ever seen in a hostel, and a very cosy attic lounge with a pool table, all decorated with a vibrant Popart esthetic which funtions very well. Valencia is an elegant, laid-back city well worth a few day's visit-don't miss the architectural marvel of the Science Center or paella cooked over a wood fire.

A good and new (recently inaugurated) hostel right in the centre of Valencia. Location is perfect, all things to see and places to go out at night near-by. Decoration of hostel funky and modern, I liked it very much. We were there in May 2005 and the place still looked relatively clean and neat. Facilities are good, nice kitchen and common room. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it, although the lockers are easy to open even when they're locked!!

The hostel building itself is great, both outside and inside!

The rooms are clean, but it cannot be said the same about the bathrooms, looks like someone has lost all her hair in the hostel showers...(by the way, our room shared the courtyard with the boys' toilet, which door was always open, quite interesting indeed...;-).

It's really close to the city centre, and for a good breakfast you can go at the Espresso bar, just few meters on the right of the hostel entrance.

Everything was ok till a friend of mine was stolen from 100 from her bag during the night, so I strongly recommend you to keep you belongings well locked. You can buy a lock for 1 at the reception.

probably deserves 3 and a half stars, not 3... nest was large (5 floors of rooms), spacious (6 bed dorm was huge), well located (near the park and catedral, right in the heart of the old city) and funky. however, for such a huge place, there are only 2 fridges and limited shelf space, so it's hard to store your food. the laundry is free, but takes ages, and good luck getting a turn!!! the two large groups staying at the same time as us were filthy, and left the kitchen area a complete mess. the bathrooms were also less than spotless. nest is recommended as an option - maybe you'll be luckier than us.

when i first went in i thought i was in a 5 star hotel, decoration is special, modern design and very fashion, location is probably even greater than decoration, the building itself is beautiful...had a great time there, without a doubt the best hostel i ever stayed at. if are ever in valencia have a look.... its worthy
