The accomodations were fine, you had to pay for bed sheets, but its cheap so its ok. Nice hot showers. It was very clean and modern. But, so small. I was in a 3 bed room and if I wasn't the only one in the room, it was impossible to turn around without bumping the other person or hitting a wall. The large lockers encompassed more space than the floor did! However, nice location, not far from the train station. Payphones in the building. The staff were a little odd, but they got the job done.

If you are half as poor as I am and you are going to Geneva, stay here. Everything, and particularly eating, is so expensive in Switzerland that you must have a kitchen. This place has a kitchen, new laundry facilities, and they play a movie every night in the foyer, which is nice if you feel like taking the night off or are waiting for your laundry. The staff was very international, and helpful, and you could get into the hostel anytime during the evening with your key. I would definitely go back if I was in Geneva again.

This hostel was very clean. The rooms were modern, and the shower facilities were great. The common room was very nice as well. A bit pricey, and no breakfast was included, but a great one night stop over. The do sell water very cheap!

Nice and clean hostel, finally I found somewhere where the showers smelled of bleach meaning they had acutally had been cleaned! Very hot room though as it was June, and no fans. Also the Amercian guy banging on the doors at 5am screaming "let me in, you've locked me out again" for like an hour and shouting hysterically. Other than that an enjoyable stay.

This hostel is certainly clean, spacious and fairly comfortable. I stayed two nights in mid-June during a HUGE heatwave and it was extremely hard to sleep at night. The window opens out onto an extremely noisy street and there was no air-conditioning. Also, the social area was not very social: it's true about the nightly movie; everyone files in and then straight back out afterwards. A nice, comfortable place but no character.

We arrived at the hostel with a good feeling after having read all the previous good reviews. This hostel definitely lived up to our expectations...the staff was helpful, the room looked exactly like the one shown on the website, and everything (including the bathroom) was really clean. I especially liked the fact that we had our own storage space in the fridge. Would definitely come back here again, and certainly worth the price, considering how expensive everything else is in the city!

Everything people have said here is true - it certainly is clean and well-run. However I would add the caveat that there isn't really anywhere to socialise here - the TV room fills up for the nightly movie, and then empties again straight afterwards. This is a shame, because Geneva prices being what they are, a cheap friendly bar would have been a very welcome feature.

I wasn't feeling too well by the time I got to Geneva and the hotel lets you sleep in(no lock-out!!). I fet so much better afterwards.... I might be biased though. It is a bit expensive but everything in Switzerland is.....You also get the nightly English movies and kitchen is clean and nice. You get your own fridge key so no stolen food(happened to me before).

This was a great place to stay, although I was only here for two nights. Room was more like a hotel room, very clean, I think the building is quite new. There are plenty of bathrooms and they are very clean, location is great, 5 minutes walk from the station, staff were friendly. I just wish they would put proper curtains on the windows - I felt like people could see in. Other than that, nearly perfect.

Everything the others said were true, but...1. Because the rooms are non-smoking only, I found that some folks smoked right there in the hallways. 2. The windows do nothing to keep out street noise, it was hard to sleep at night. 3. Our room (maybe others as well) had see through curtains. But I would agree, for the money, it was a clean and well run place to spend the night. More hotel than hostel.
