Cardiff’s YHA has the usual facilities such as a TV lounge, Internet access and kitchen. However it has an institutional feel and is outside the city centre.

Staff is very helpful, the rooms are good, they have a TV room with a very small B&W TV which is were you can smoke, and you can get pizza delivered to the hostel until 1am. The front desk closes at 11pm, so if you want anything to drink you have to get them before they close as they don't have a vending machine. Breakfast was good and near the bus stop into town.
