BUG review
Braich Goch is a tidy bunkhouse catering to outdoorsy types. It features a fully equipped kitchen; a dining room with a fireplace and a cosy bar/lounge with pool table, table football and a climbing wall.
About BUG's hostel reviews
This hostel was visited by one of BUG's team of hostel inspectors who write independent reviews and assess a star rating based on an objective assessment criteria.
We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.
Price Dorm bed £16 Prices are in British pounds and are inclusive of all taxes.
A supurb getaway, and equipped to cater for a varied selection of purposes, for example, as an outwardbound hub, convenient journey break or merely as a tranquil location within which to relax. Worthy of note is its atmosphere, facilities and location. You will also find the rooms comfortable and well kept. I will no doubt return soon.

Great location, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and great value for money. We planned to stay the night on way through and ended up staying a further two nights.Looking forward to return visit when we'll be better prepared with walking boots and bikes!!!!
