This is a great hostel from which to explore Cardigan and Cardigan Bay. A car is definitely needed to get there as it is perched high up on a hill overlooking the bay. It has very good self-catering facilities, a nice lounge and a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely go there again.

Perched on the North Pembrokeshire coast, Poppit Sands boasts good sea views and comfortable accommodation. Easy to get to by public transport (though be prepared for the steep approach if you're hiking with a heavy pack) or by car/motorbike/bicycle. Good kitchen and shop, so you don't need to stock up at the supermarket before arriving.
