BUG review
Columbus Circle Hostel is a nice clean place with good facilities for a relatively small (94-bed) big city hostel. It features a big common area with polished floorboards, a TV lounge, a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. Accommodation is in mostly six-bed dorms and it has a safe location near the south-western corner of Central Park (and close to a good supermarket). The only real downside is the no-alcohol rule, kills the atmosphere of what would otherwise be a great hostel.

I stayed in room 305 and every time someone turned on the sink, it sounded like a dying baby whale. The noise was so loud that it wakes up everyone in the room. That was the worst thing about staying in that hostel. Other than that, everything was good.
