This place was nice, a little bit out of the way. We stayed there because it was an overnight stop with the 'Fiji Experience' tour. (Which was tops by the way). But i couldn't see myself trekking out there.

When we stayed (early 2006) they had only just opened, so there was only the rooms and the restaurant/bar. But a beachside bar and volleyball area were being built.

I was a little disappointed in the food. But the staff were nice. They had snorkeling and scuba trips on offer as well.

Beware.. in Fiji nothing is FREE. Our host for the evening was a lovely Fijian man and we had a great night, but at the end of the night you may be asked to pay for any 'Kava' that was shared around during the night. I would have no problems with this, but at the time they make out its a token of friendship until your asked to cough-up the cash. But this is not an isolated incident at VoliVoli Beach.
