BUG Review
Verandahs is a newly renovated building backing onto Western Park near the corner of Ponsonby and Karangahape Roads. It has a cosy lounge and two kitchens plus a big backyard and lovely city views from the balcony. It is very clean and maintained to a high standard.
Price Dorm bed $25-29 ($22-26 BBH) Single room $48 ($45 BBH) double/twin room $66 ($60 BBH) Prices are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of all taxes.

We were surprised at how chick the neighborhood was. It was good to check out the shops, view the homes and visit the large park. There is a great view of the city and it's tower from the verandahs. The managers were friendly and helpful. Recommended especially for young people.
