BUG Review
This great little hostel has a choice location right on the beach, 5km west of Opotiki. It is a small, clean place with a cosy lounge with a log fire (no TV), a small kitchen and an outdoor games area with a barbecue and hammocks.
Price Dorm bed $23 ($20 BBH) Single room $43 ($40 BBH) Double/twin room $56 ($50 BBH) Prices are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of all taxes.

This was the best place I have ever been to in my life. Stayed here for new years 2004/2005 Steve knew every one by name, even if you had only been there one night. If you are ever there at New Years walk down the beach and meet the locals and join in their bonfires. Steve and his wife are great and their baby is so beautiful.
