Foley Towers is the founding hostel in the BBH network and it is one of Christchurch's longest established hostels. It is comprised of several buildings arranged around a nice garden in a horseshoe shape. The place is clean but the standard of maintenance varies from one building to another. Facilities are limited to two kitchens and there is no TV. There are loads of toilets and showers and under floor heating in all rooms.

This is what a hostel should be like!

We stayed in a double ensuite and found this hostel to be the best one we've experienced!

The room is nice, clean and roomy. Kitchen is perfect and filled with utensils, big plus for the small jars filled with spices!! It's located just 10min away from Cathedral square, close enough to walk but also far enough from the noise.

The rooms are built in a square with a nice garden in the middle, a few benches here and there plus the BBQ area makes this a great place to hang out in....a perfect garden in the garden city!
