BUG Review
Eastender Backpacker is set on a horse and sheep farm, and has a few basic eight-bed bunkhouses and some cabins. The East As bus stops here, and activities are set up to cater to groups of travellers – there are sheep-shearing demonstrations and bone-carving lessons and you can also go horse trekking. The big shearing shed also holds a games room with a pool table and table tennis. There’s a basic kitchen and TV room, and an outdoor fireplace and barbecue. It’s a rustic place but it’s pretty clean and is guaranteed a regular crowd a few times a week thanks to the bus.

Camping $10 per person
