BUG Review
This hostel in Spring Creek about 10 minutes' drive north of Blenheim is a fairly good workers' hostel. It has clean bathrooms but the dorms are really messy, although messy dorms are endemic to most workers' hostels. Facilities include the usual kitchen, TV lounge, internet access and laundry and tehre is a nice garden area with a barbecue and a big hammock. Guests have free use of kayaks.

Dorm bed $22 ($19 BBH)
Double room $54-66 ($48-60 BBH)
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of all taxes.
