BUG Review
Right across the road from the southern end of Ninety Mile Beach, Endless Summer Lodge is great little place set in a gorgeously-maintained 1880 kauri villa. Rooms are sunny and clean and have excellent beds. There’s a small, cute lounge (without a TV) and a big front yard with a veranda looking out over the beach and Shipwreck Bay. A number of rooms also have sea views. The backyard features a covered barbecue area and a long, grapevine-shaded table. Full kitchen facilities, including a dishwasher, are absolutely top-notch. If you have your own transport, this makes a fantastic alternative to staying in Kaitaia.

About BUG's hostel reviews
This hostel was visited by one of BUG's team of hostel inspectors who write independent reviews and assess a star rating based on an objective assessment criteria.

We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.
