Friendliest homiest place I stayed at, February 21, 2006

Pros: invited to come on the farm to watch working dogs and cattle
Cons: Covered outdoor area would be good decks slightly too hot

Came across this hostel purely by chnace, the farming couple who run it really made me feel like I was staying with friends. The farmer was going out to move his cattle and invited me along as a passenger on the four wheel bike, it was a great experience to see the team of working dogs move the reluctant cows and their calfs. The spa was fantastic, the only minus was that the deck areas get a bit too hot and they would be better to have a covered area, although there is plenty of shaded lawn area
