Wave Haven is a laid-back place that's got a great atmosphere a bit like a big shared house. The hostel has a TV lounge with surround sound projector TV; internet access (including Wi-Fi) and a fully-equipped kitchen with an espresso machine. There is a big garden with a sauna and even a glow worm walking trail. The hostel is in a state of ongoing maintenance but it has clean and comfortable rooms. It is near the beach about 16km south of New Plymouth and it's a popular spot for surfers.

Really friendly experienced laid back owners, great atmosphere and brilliant facilities, especially the expresso and bread machines! Best place to stay
